Due to inductance values of 11\u00b5H, 80\u00b5H, and 100\u00b5H, the common mode chokes mainly apply to CAN- and CAN FD bus systems, but as well as to FlexRay, A2B, and other data communication technologies. Additional applications for the 1210CMF are wideband noise suppression, filtering and EMC protection.<\/p>\n<p>The 1210CMF has two parallel copper windings, wound as a single-layer providing a symmetric coil. A ferrite plate on top of the ferrite core works as a magnetic shield and allows for pick-and-place assembly. The typical impedance @10MHz of the 1210CMF ranges depending on inductance value from 550\u2126 (@11\u00b5H) to 5100\u2126 (@100\u00b5H). The DCR varies from 0.4\u2126 to 2.3\u2126, and the rated current ranges from 150mA to 300mA.<\/p>\n<p>Common to all 1210CMF is an insulation resistance of a minimum of 10M\u2126, a leakage inductance of typical 0.13\u00b5H and a rated voltage of 80VDC. Notably is the low winding capacitance of 12pF, applying to all three inductance values of the 1210CMF.<\/p>\n<p>The operational temperature range is -40\u00b0C to +150\u00b0C, including self-heating.
